Marcom Nine Consulting Services is a strategic marketing firm providing planning, execution, and outsourcing services to technology and professional services firms, and institutions of higher education. We primarily serve medium and select small businesses, but our client list also includes household names such as Dell, Avnet, EDS, Southern Methodist University, and the University of Texas at Dallas.
What’s in a name?

What we do
In the world of marketing there are PR, advertising, Web, and graphic design firms and they specialize in PR, advertising, Web development, and graphic design. Marcom9’s specialty is strategy-based marketing planning and execution using PR, advertising, Web development, and graphic design as tools to achieve our client’s goals and objectives. We are vendor agnostic and strive to represent our client’s best interest throughout the project or engagement.
Our Business Model
We provide fixed-fee services on projects and retained engagement work. The most common types of projects are brand identity transformation, marketing plan development, creating marketing collateral, and Web update and design. Retainer work is more complex and can be a series of projects, interim marketing management, and in some cases Marcom9 becomes the marketing department.
Our History
Marcom9 was founded in 2002 by Edwin Jones as Marcom Outsourcing and quickly landed several key accounts. In 2004 the firm became part of Landon Design and provided marketing communication and graphic design services under the name Marcom Nine. Our relationship with Landon Design remains strong, but Marcom Nine has since returned to its roots as an independent strategic marketing firm, focused on the delivery of innovative marketing services that make a measurable difference to our client’s bottom-line.
